AGIA AGM this month!

The AGM is an opportunity for the membership to come together and hear about the work undertaken by the National Committee in their behalf. For the first time nominations for the National Committee are open to ALL AGIA members around Australia. AGIA President Angela Riganti reminds us of some of the benefits of committee work:

  •  Exchange information and ideas with your peers
  • Develop professional relationships and strengthen your ties in the field of geoscience information
  • Build up your knowledge and keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Gain expertise in new areas or gather new ideas for your current area
  • Plan and attend social, educational, and networking events

NOMINATIONS close 11 September 2014 – if you have any questions about committee roles please do not hesitate to contact one of the existing National Committee members
